The SME QIANG programme has helped our company to understand the actual operation process. The programme has allowed to the team to conduct work study to identify the counterproductive activities. With the expertise of SMF consultants, the team analysed the set up time of machine and redesigned the work process to maximise the utilisation of labour and machine resources. As a result, there was an increase in productivity, from 10,000 machining hour per month to 12,000 machining hour per month.
