- Practical Test

To better equip forklift operators on the vehicle's operations, safe driving and hazard awareness. To allow forklift drivers to have the sufficient hands-on experience in driving forklift as well as stacking and unloading of goods. The final evaluation will include a theory and a practical test whereby the participants will be put to the test.

Target Audience
All workers who need to operate a forklift in their course of work. Successful participants will receive a Forklift Driver's Training Course Certification accredited by SkillsFuture Singapore (formerly known as WDA). It is mandatory from Ministry of Manpower that you will need a Forklift Driver's Training Course Certification in order to operate this vehicle.

Practical Course (2 days)*
Day: Tuesday & Wednesday, Thursday & Friday

Total Fees (3 Days Course): $449.40 (Inclusive of 7% GST)
*Applicant must possess a valid Singapore or Malaysia Class 3 driving license.

Practical Learning

Competency-based assessment for both Theory and Practical will be conducted at the end of the lessons.
Min 75% attendance and undergo assessment are required to qualify for government grant. 

- Singaporeans, Permanent Residents or Holders of valid employment pass / work permit
- Able to read and understand simple English
- Applicant must be at least 18 years of age on admission to the programme

- Must be physically and mentally fit for the training with no handicap
- Applicants must possess a valid Land & Transport Authority (LTA) Class 3 driving license*

Note :
Those 62 years and above must produce a medical certificate of physical fitness
* Please attach a copy of the valid LTA Class 3 driving license at time of application

Terms & Conditions

1. All notice of withdrawal must be given in writing before the issuance of letter of confirmation. Once confirmation letter is sent to participant, no cancellation will be allowed or penalty charges will apply.

If notice of withdrawal is received:

- At least 1 week before commencement of the course, a 20% of the full course fee will be charged. For government-funded course, a 20% of full course fee before funding will be charged.

- Less than 1 week before commencement of the course, a 30% of the full course fee will be charged. For government-funded course, a 30% of full course fee before funding will be charged.
- No show on the scheduled date, a full course fee will be levied. For government-funded course, a full course fee before funding will be charged.

2. For all government-funded programmes (WSQ & Non-WSQ), funding is only applicable to:
- Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
- Participants who have achieved at least 75% attendance and passed all required assessments

Full course fee will be charged to participants who fail to meet the above-mentioned criteria.
3. When a course is cancelled, fail to commence or fail to complete under unforeseen circumstances, participant is allowed to defer the intake at no cost or withdraw from the course; under such situation, a full refund of the advance payment will be given.

4. Notice of change in participant’s name must be given in writing, not less than 5 days before the course commencement date.

5. SMF CCL reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify or otherwise alter these terms and conditions at any time. Such modifications shall become effective immediately upon the posting thereof.
